YOUTH MINISTRIES

CrossRoads Worship Gathering

Saturday November 5th 10 - 3 pm

A community-wide youth program is an important part of the life of Mill Creek Parish. Here are some brief descriptions to give you a feel for these important programs.

National Cathedral

"EG" (Emerging Generation)

For youth in 4th & 5th grades this year, monthly events offer both Christian fellowship and education on topics of interest to the youth.

Super Sundae

Sunday Morning Youth Classes

Middle school youth and Senior high youth meet in separate classes for sharing and discussion, prayer, video presentations, and team building activities. Discussions focus on topics facing teens today, fellowship, and faith. Mill Creek and Rock retreats are also cherished times for study and fun.

Middle Highs, Retreat Ropes Course

Middle High Youth Fellowship

Our newest youth group includes grades 6 through 8. We meet on Sunday evenings, at 6:30, for games, fellowship time, and prayer. Activities include camp-outs, service projects, retreats, and more.

Retreat--Ropes Course

Senior High Youth Fellowship

Also on Sunday evenings Senior highs meet to support one another with friendship and prayer, and to have fun. Activities include service projects, retreats, shared meals and worship, as well as fun planned by youth such as lazar tag and skiing.

Appalachia Service Project

Mill Creek Parish United Methodist Church has been sending youth and adults on a service mission trip with Appalachia Service Project every summer for over 20 years. ASP is a home repair/home building ministry. Youth and adult volunteers work in teams making repairs to homes in Central Appalachia. All repairs focus on making homes warmer, safer and drier for people living in substandard, poverty conditions. Volunteers thrive in the compassionate community of service, returning home blessed from the rich experience.

FISH choir

FISH Choir

Friends in Spiritual Harmony, or FISH, is a youth choir that practices on Sunday evenings from 5:30 to 6:30 and sings during worship services throughout the year. F.I.S.H. is jointly directed by Mrs. Carolyn Williams and Mill Creek choir director Debra Newhall. Join in the joy

Youth Bell Choir

Youth Bell Choir

We welcome any youth interested in learning this form of music making. The choir plays during the worship services every few months.
