Music is instrumental to our worship.
Several programs exist for both voice and handbells. In addition there are several
opportunities for performances during the year in the worship service and during
other activities.

while having fun and refreshments.
Adult Bell Choir
The adult bell choir (Tim Friedlander, director) is an 11-15 person, acoustic
ensemble that provides special music selected to enhance the worship experience.
In the Spring, the choir joins other bell choirs at local and regional bell festivals.
We rehearse Thursday nights, 7-8 p.m., September through May, and welcome new
players who read music.
Youth Bell Choir
We welcome any youth who can read music to this form of music making. This
choir plays during the worship services every few months. The youth bell choir
participates in a yearly festival in Richmond, Virginia where they join 400 other
youth ringers in a 2 day workshop and concert.
Praise Band
The Mill Creek Parish Praise Band provides a broad range of contemporary music
styles and moods to appeal to the diversity of worship styles in today's congregations.
Whether it is acoustic or electric, the group provides music on a stylistic continuum,
from the upbeat, progressive sounds of Christian bands and artists such as Michael
W. Smith, Third Day, and Casting Crowns, to the mellow, beautiful grand piano
& string arrangements of contemporarized hymns from groups such as Selah and Fernando
Ortega. Whether it is intimate & soothing prayer music, or all-out extravagant
& percussive praise, this eight-person ensemble plays twice a month (on the second
and fourth Sundays) at Mill Creek Parish during September through June, as well
as on designated Summer Sundays.
Special Music
Opportunities for soloists and small ensembles to share their musical talents
in worship are available throughout the year.
